In early 2018, I was commissioned by HVTN press to produce work in collaboration with the experimental poet Astra Papachristodoulou. Alongside three other parings of visual artist/poet, we were directed to each select a work for our respective partner to respond to. Astra proposed that I respond her poem 'Helix'. In turn, I proposed that Astra respond to my work 'Dots'. The original and responsive pieces are shown below.
